My Husband, Who Earns Less than Me, Forced Me to Take a Second Job — So I Chose One That’d Teach Him a Lesson

Lisa was the primary breadwinner in her marriage, but recently, her husband Tom had been pressuring her to get a second job. When she questioned him, he dismissed her concerns and insisted she wasn’t as tired as he was since she worked from home. Frustrated, Lisa confided in her mother, who urged her to stand her ground.

One evening, Tom brought it up again, using their plans to buy a new car as leverage. When Lisa pushed back, he revealed his real priority—keeping his bowling nights free. Annoyed but determined, Lisa agreed to get a job, choosing the very bowling alley where Tom and his friends frequently hung out.

On her first shift, she donned the revealing uniform and took her place behind the drink counter. As expected, Tom was furious when he spotted her. “What the hell, Lisa?” he snapped.

“I’m working,” she replied smugly. “You wanted this, remember?”

As the night progressed, her manager, Ursula, unknowingly dropped a bombshell—Tom had seduced multiple waitresses, and one had just given birth to his child, now seeking child support.

Rage and betrayal surged through Lisa. She stormed over to Tom and slapped him hard. “You’re disgusting!” she shouted. “I know about the baby.”

Panic flashed across his face. “I can explain—”

“I don’t care,” she cut him off. “Pack your things. I’m filing for divorce.”

With that, she walked away, heartbroken but resolute.
