Tom Selleck, born January 29, 1945, is an American actor best known for his role as Thomas Magnum in Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988), which earned him five Emmy nominations and one win in 1985. He later starred as NYC Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in Blue Bloods (2010-present) and portrayed Jesse Stone in nine TV movies. Selleck also appeared in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Quigley Down Under (1990), among other roles. A former NRA spokesperson and Army National Guard infantryman, he is also an avid volleyball player and ice hockey fan. Selleck has been married twice and lives on a ranch in California.
