The movie star Susan Buckner from GREASE has died. She was 72 years old.

The actress became well-known for her role as Patty Simcox, Sandy’s cheerleading friend played by Olivia Newton-John in the movie musical.

Deadline reports that Susan’s family said she died peacefully in Miami, surrounded by loved ones.

Variety shows likе The Mac Davis Show, Sonny and Cher, and The Brady Bunch Variety Hour were just a few of the TV shows and movies that Susan was in.

She also ran for Miss America as a representative for Washington state in 1972.

She got her most famous role as Rydell High cheerleader Patty in 1977. Patty wasn’t afraid to show her school spirit.
